So according to my practicum supervisor, my lesson went well. Sure didn't feel like it, when one of the students, being Mr. Smarty Pants, decided to close his eyes and smile half way through the book entitled, um, Close Your Eyes. Then when I actually ASKED the students to close their eyes, his eyes were as wide open as his impish grin. And he was being so good all day, up until the time I really needed him to behave. He also decided to do everything we asked him not to do. The teacher assistant put him in a well deserved "time-out." Though I'm not really sure how effective it is, even though it effectively got that student out of having to do the follow up art activity. *Sigh* But what made it all worth it were the other ultra-inquisitive students and the fact that my practicum supervisor thought the 45 minute lesson went really well and that I was "a natural." Teehee:)
