Because I've been especially bad about one of my
new year's resolutions (what's new) when i said i'd attend a "community" event at least once a month, I'm planning to cover March with
this on Monday, and am thinking about going to
this in April. Any other events you can recommend to make up for February? Does
H's birthday bash tomorrow night count? Hehe. Boy, this would not be a problem if we update
maARTe more, ha? Heh. It's coming soon, promise. I've seen previews and once I get my ass in gear and edit what
B's done so far, we should have a new issue up before you know it. I promise, "before you know it" won't mean June. Heh.
CORRECTION: Well, duh, how could I miss the fact that Hummus has been updating the maARTe calendar - goodies galore! Enjoy!

Boring Update #543
(aka, why i don't update this as much)
My Saturday was spent playing and singing (i'm now a one man church band, hehe) for a mass (with too many embarrasing mistakes to count), lunching at an all-you-can-eat Chinese Buffet, getting inspired by a fellow teacher (and childhood friend), buying toys for my kids at Toys R' Us, and eating yummy crabs for dinner. Sunday was nearly parallel: playing and singing (though there i'm one member of a two man band and 20+ member choir) at SNT mass, buying more supplies for school for the kids at Staples, pork sinigang for lunch (yum!). B and I were fooled by the sun into thinking we could eat out in the backyard but we got cold FAST. We made sandwiches for a make-shift afternoon tea. I made some more of my nearly perfected cucumber sandwiches with dill cream cheese, and B successfully tried to make a smoked salmom with lime-ginger butter spread. Total indulgence accompanied with Indian Spiced Chai for me and Mango and Passion Fruit tea for him. Spent the evening (in between watching the latest KICK-ASS Alias episode) playing with my new toy, which, yes, I (the sucker I am) bought for the benefit of my kids, not to mention making my life easier - hopefully!
*Sigh*
